Since 2011, I have provided trusted, professional care for dogs, cats, and other pets in Ilminster and the surrounding Somerset area.

About me

Hello!

I'm Beverley, a qualified Veterinary Nurse with over 40 years’ experience of caring for pets.

I’ve loved animals all my life, and I feel incredibly lucky to work with them every day.

I started Happy Pets & Paws to provide a personal, caring alternative to busy kennels and large pet care services.

I’m fully licensed (Licence No. 044699) and insured, and I keep my service small to make sure every animal gets the attention they deserve.

Dog boarding & daycare

A calm, home-from-home for your dog with cosy spaces and countryside walks.

To keep things relaxed, safe and happy, I only care for up to four dogs at a time. Accepted dogs are sociable, well-mannered and fully vaccinated.

Cat home visits (cat sitting)

House visits to your property. Purrfect for those home-loving or nervous cats who need to feel secure and stress-free in their own environment.

Daily house visits ensure your cat receives TLC, feeding, a clean litter tray, and medication if needed. You can even ask for your house plants watered - it’s all part of the package!

Owners receive enjoyable daily updates including photos, videos, and news of their cats.

I offer dog walking for regular clients - typically beautiful countryside walks with lots of time to play, sniff, explore and make friends.
